“There was never a dull moment with David,” said Zhee Carr, recalling through tears the times she spent playing with her son.
“We went to church on Sunday and then when we came back we started playing.”
David Carr, 13, and his brother George Carr Jr., 17, were together when David was struck by two vehicles Sunday night as he tried to cross Bell Street. George Carr Jr. ran to his brother and held him until EMS arrived.
David Carr later died at a local hospital from injuries sustained in the accident.
