AMARILLO — “You’re here because of what Christ does … not Cameron Reeves,” said Tommy Politz, senior pastor at Hillside Christian Church, as he addressed the congregation Sunday morning at the Hillside Canyon campus.
The packed room was filled with teary eyes as Politz spoke about forgiveness and healing.
Reeves, 34, a campus pastor since 2009, resigned his post after he was arrested Thursday at Motel 6, 2032 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, on a charge related to prostitution.
